Our Purpose...

To mentor young ladies approaching adulthood in order to educate and strengthen the problem solving skills of developing young ladies both physically and spiritually.

EYL has flourished into something of significance, substance, encouragement, enlightenment and consequence, which has given young ladies lasting memories that they will take with them throughout life because EYL is a five star event. It introduces girls to a world of tea parties, arts and crafts, social communication, proper etiquette and friendship.

Our History...

EYL was founded by the late Mrs. Alison Gray Adedipe in October 2001. Her life and legacy has continued to touch the lives of those who remember her.

EYL, began in 2001 by 6 young ladies who wanted to experience the joy of friendship in a retreat-like setting. Thus the birth of the quarterly summits.

Many young ladies ages 7-17 find themselves coping with social pressures to be thin, stylish and sexy. Yes, sexy! If you take a quick look at the face of the average 7-8 year old girl, you’re likely to see a baby face looking back at you. However, the “baby” behind the face is hardly the naïve little girl that the typical pre-teen girl was, several decades ago. Today’s pre-teen young girls have been exposed to more pressures than most of their mothers experienced in their teen years.

EYL, maintains a healthy attitude toward positive reinforcement against social peer pressures. Our methods are simple, we use biblical principles, peer mentoring techniques, self acceptance and social graces to reinforce the social peer pressures that attack the mental and physical development of our young ladies.
